Business Development Partner — Out-Licensing & Co-Development (Commission-Only)

Open doors between our computationally designed therapeutic programs and the pharma/biotech partners who will license or co-develop them — and earn commission on every deal you bring in.

About Axia — Axia Discovery is an in-silico-first platform biotech. We computationally design novel peptides and related binders — cyclic peptides, miniproteins, nanobodies, and other modalities — and pair every design with a tight functional wet-lab readout. Our programs span multiple therapeutic areas; we keep our platform and methods, and we out-license or co-develop select programs with partners who can carry them forward. That's where you come in.

The opportunity — We're building a small roster of independent business development partners who source and introduce biotech and pharma counterparties for our out-licensing and co-development programs. You work your network, make warm and confidential introductions to the right licensing / BD / search-and-evaluation decision-makers, and shepherd conversations through to a signed deal. Axia leads all diligence and commercial negotiation — you open and steward the relationship, and you're paid on success. Remote and global — work from wherever your network is.

What you'd do

• Map and prioritize counterparties with the pipeline position, capability, and motivation to license or co-develop a given program.

• Make the introduction — confidentially connect us with the right decision-makers, on terms that protect our IP and keep us anonymous until an NDA is in place where appropriate.

• Steward to signature — keep momentum from first contact through diligence to a signed agreement.
\n
• Feed the funnel — share market intelligence on who's buying and where the fit is strongest.
\n

Who we're looking for

• A live network in pharma/biotech BD — you already know licensing, BD, and search-&-evaluation people who take your call, in one or more therapeutic areas.

• A track record of sourced or closed deals you can point to.
\n
• Independent operator — success-fee, your own process, no day-to-day management.
\n
• Confidential and credible — you protect sensitive information by instinct.
\n

The deal (how you're paid)

\n
• Commission on every deal you source — a success fee on the Deal Consideration Axia receives from a partner you introduced: upfronts, license/option/technology -access fees, milestones, research funding, sublicense income, and the fair-market value of any equity or non-cash consideration.
\n
• Success-only. No retainer, no draw, no salary — you earn when a deal you sourced signs and pays.
\n
• Non-exclusive. Keep your other engagements.
\n
• 12-month tail on introduced parties, with standard non-circumvention protection.
\n
• Simple written terms — a short Introduction & Brokerage Agreement (independent contractor; no authority to bind Axia)
