Responsibilities:
\nInstalls, configures, and supports an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet systems or a segment of a network system. Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance. May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. May administer network security measures. Provides the overall integration of the enterprise-wide network including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of the corporate LAN/WAN (may include local, metropolitan and wide area networks). Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintain data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
\n \nEducation:
\nBachelor's degree in a related engineering pr science/technical discipline. Four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Typical Education / Experience for Level IIBS and 2 years of experience; or AA or AS degree in a “Relevant Technical Discipline” and 4 years of relevant experience or 6 years relative experience.
