Equity/Investment Research Analyst

Position: Equity/Investment Research Analyst

Type: Contractor

Compensation: $175–$300/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Equity Research and Investment Analysts to support a project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and sector research . You’ll apply your expertise to evaluate real-world equity research workflows and help improve how AI systems analyze financial markets and investment opportunities.

No prior AI experience is required — your equity research expertise is what matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate datasets representing real-world equity research analysis .
\n
• Analyze earnings reports , estimate revisions, and peer benchmarking.
\n
• Evaluate company models covering revenue, margins, cash flow, and valuation drivers .
\n
• Produce concise research summaries and event-driven updates .
\n
• Develop and articulate investment theses using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
\n
• Identify key industry trends, sector metrics, and company catalysts .
\n
• Provide feedback on research data quality and improve financial analysis content.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• Extensive experience in equity research , including direct ownership of company models and written research.
\n
• Experience covering multiple companies across several earnings cycles .
\n
• Strong financial modeling, earnings analysis, valuation, and peer benchmarking skills.
\n
• Ability to connect business drivers, financial outcomes, and valuation .
\n
• Deep expertise in at least one industry sector .
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Experience developing and defending investment theses and research views .
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Background as a Sell-Side Research Associate, Research Analyst, VP, or Director .
\n
• Experience independently maintaining comprehensive company models.
\n
• Strong expertise in event-driven research and earnings analysis .
\n
• Proven ability to provide specialist sector insights and high-quality investment research.
\n

Compensation

\n
• Competitive compensation of $175–$300/hour.
\n
• Independent contractor engagement.
\n
• Approximately 25 positions available.
\n
